I am most grateful for all the academic help you have given [my daughter] S–––. She understands her courses at school in a better way; she is more confident.  She improved her SAT overall score substantially, and I am expecting continued growth in her academics. We have used other tutoring services, but yours was the best.

Dr. Brill is a dedicated, methodical, and compassionate tutor. He set specific goals in consultation with my son and held him to the goals they mutually set. Dr. Brill commanded the online lesson as if he were personally in the room.
My son worked with him weekly for almost two and a half months before taking the SSAT. When he began his vocabulary was slightly above average for this grade level. His math skills were average. His writing expression was creative but technical writing and language usage was inconsistent and unclear. Finally his reading comprehension was slightly above average for his grade. Now his vocabulary, math, writing and reading is very strong and well above grade level. Most importantly, my son ended up feeling confident and ready for the SSAT.

My granddaughter suffered a concussion at the beginning of her Sophomore year in high school, which caused her to fall behind in school. During the recovery process, she was also diagnosed with a fairly significant reading learning disability. Although good in mathematics, she also started to struggle with written math problems. Needless to say, her confidence was shaken and she was really struggling to catch up with her schoolwork while also starting preparations for taking the SAT.
We hired Jonathan to start the tutoring process. He quickly recognized her challenges and adapted his approach to help her improve her reading comprehension skills. He taught her many ways to breakdown a sentence and a paragraph to improve comprehension. The outcome was that she was able to make sense of text that completely baffled her before!
Jonathan was patient and kind while also pushing her along. I can’t thank him enough for the difference he made in our granddaughter’s confidence and performance. She will be able to use the approaches Jonathan taught her for the rest of her life. I would highly recommend Jonathan for tutoring.

I had started taking a data modeling statistics course online at Drexel University and was doing well in following the material during the first few weeks. However, I quickly became lost and overwhelmed right before the midterm. Jonathan was able to meet with me on short notice for a total of 4 hours over the weekend. I was ready to jump right into some problems, but Jonathan insisted that we begin by reviewing some foundational items.  This proved really useful and almost magically transformed my understanding of the subject matter in the course. Jonathan patiently and clearly explained key concepts and, by the time we turned our attention to the problems I had been struggling with, I already felt more confident.  I ended up doing quite well on the midterm, but I know I could not have done it without my sessions with Jonathan.  I highly recommend him as a tutor.––––––

I was getting D’s and F’s in math during my sophomore year of high school and I was so frustrated because I was really trying my best.  From the first moment I met Jonathan, I could tell he sincerely wanted to help me.  And he did.  He was so kind and patient.  He explained everything clearly and was always ready to show me a different way to think about a problem until some approach clicked.  Within weeks I was doing better and after only a few months, I consistently was getting A’s and B’s in math. Jonathan is the best.
